India have lost two ODIs back-to-back and with that have lost the series. Australia would be chuffed to have won. Australia were without their skipper Cummins and had an inexperienced batting line up as well. But they have used the conditions better and have come out on top. They played the crunch moments better as well with India being sloppy at the same time. India will play for pride at Sydney. Australia will look for a whitewash. That's it from this game. Our team of Raju Peethala, Kumar Abhisekh Das, Abhinand Raghavendran and Siva had so much fun bringing this to you. We will be back with more cricketing action.
Mitchell Marsh | Australia captain: It's been awesome. I said to the boys in Perth that it is pretty rare to play in front of big crowds in ODI cricket. So, yes, it's been an awesome turnout for both games. Josh Hazlewood took the best none-for I've ever seen. He was unbelievable. I thought the whole bowling unit kept trying to take wickets. We were outstanding. I'm going to start calling him Chaos Owen, I think. It was awesome, awesome batting. I think Cooper's 21. The future is bright for Australia. I've got eyes for him. I will certainly have a beer and enjoy a series win. But it's a pretty quick turnaround. So, I won't celebrate too much tonight. India are a fantastic side. Incredible players with great experience. So, it's going to be a great experience for our young guys to play against the best.
Shubman Gill | India captain: We had just enough runs on the board. Never easy when you drop a couple of chances to be able to defend that kind of a total. In the first game, it (toss) was more crucial because of the rain. But in this game, I wouldn't say that much because both the teams played for almost 50 overs. The wicket was doing a little bit more initially. But I think the wicket settled pretty nicely after 15-20 overs. (On Rohit Sharma) Never easy, coming back and to play some competitive cricket after a long time. But the initial phase was very challenging. Very pleased the way he batted. Fought out in the initial phase. I would say he missed out on a really big knock.
Adam Zampa | Player of the Match: Nice to beat India. It's always been a good battle against them, particularly in one-day cricket. Even in India, we've always tested them and they've come here and tested us at times as well. Two teams that have adapted to the conditions really well. They're the best team in the world. They have been for a little while now. So, it's great to test ourselves against them. Those guys (pacers) have been owning powerplay for a long time. So, I have been very grateful and lucky. And then you've got the guys coming in, Xavier Bartlett, Nathan Ellis, doing their thing through the middle. It makes my job a lot easier through the middle. The beauty of Mitch (Marsh) is that he's chilled, relaxed, never too emotional. We run our own show out there with the ball.

India’s first defeat in six ODIs at Adelaide Oval since losing to the home team by 50 runs in Feb 2008.
The chase for the hosts started on a cautious note. Head and Marsh took their time early on and then the latter fell. Head also couldn't cause much damage and fell to Rana. Short got together with Renshaw and they steadied the ship and got timely fours. India didn't help themselves as they dropped Short twice who got to his fifty. When he fell, Owen came in and tried to finish it early with Cooper Connolly batting like a veteran at the other end. The Southpaw got to his fifty and Owen fell with few runs needed. Bartlett and Starc fell as well but Connolly kept going and got his team over the line.
22:08 Local Time, 11:38 GMT, 17:08 IST: India did manage to stretch Australia towards the end but the hosts have taken the series 2-0. India did much better compared to the first game but were undone by the conditions in the morning and then some dropped chances while defending the total. The ball seamed and swung and made life tough for the batters. Gill fell early and Kohli registered another duck. Rohit saw off the storm and tried to play big but fell in the 70s off Starc. Iyer also got his fifty and fell. India lost momentum and towards the end it was the Rana-Singh pair which took them north of 250.

Siraj to Mitchell Starc, out Caught by Axar!! Soft dismissal. Shortish ball, Starc looks to dab it along the ground but fails to control it. Ends up spooning it to Axar at backward point. An absolute dolly and Australia lose their eighth wicket. Mitchell Starc c Axar b Siraj 4(7) [4s-1]
